Leadership at the Building Level
Bartley ElementaryThe Bartley Elementary Leadership team is composed of the principal and four teachers. The team members meet twice a month on Friday mornings at 7:15 AM to plan and discuss building/staff concerns which may impede the success of our PLCs and to discuss ways we can offer support to remedy those concerns. We plan for building PD needs and offer training and support for all teachers by utilizing staff members with experience in areas of need. All members receive ongoing training from RPDC. One member serves on the district leadership team as well. New members apply to serve when a vacancy occurs and are selected by peer vote.

Fulton Middle School |
The Bush Elementary Leadership team is composed of the principal and a representative from each grade level/department in an effort to provide equitable voice and representation throughout the building. The leadership team meets monthly unless an additional meeting time is necessary for planning or discussion purposes. The leadership team reviews building data, sets our building SMART goals, and develops our building's action plan. At each meeting, the team reviews the district’s mission and vision, and then following the PLC process, discusses current building needs. We celebrate successes and help develop action steps for areas of concern. The leadership team also provides input into building level PD activities.

The Fulton High School Leadership Team includes the principal, a counselor, and five teachers. Currently one of our teachers represents our special education department and the other four represent our content areas. We currently have no set system for rotating our members; we recognize the need and plan to create a system, but because our building’s PLC process has been in a state of transition the last FEW years, we have chosen to replace only those members who have left our district or building. The team has historically met once every two weeks, but is currently meeting weekly. We oversee the fundamentals of the PLC process, including the creation and monitoring of the school’s mission, vision, collective commitments, and professional learning communities (our data teams). The leadership team supports our data teams in answering the four corollary questions of PLCs, completing data cycles, creating and utilizing common assessments, and seeking to initiate and/or improve student self-assessment processes. Our leadership team supports these efforts through identifying and providing relevant professional development and meeting with and providing feedback to our teams. Our team's current focus is on improving our system of providing feedback to our data teams and establishing a student advisory team within our building.
